Congratulations to our DVM graduates!

The Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine proudly celebrates its 50th annual Veterinary Medicine Commencement on Friday, May 15, conferring 127 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. The ceremony, presided over by Oliver A. Garden, BvetMed, PhD, DACVIM, DECVIM-CA, dean of the school, included a commencement address by special guest Ashley Stokes, DVM, Ph.D. (LSU 2001, 2003), dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the University of California, Davis.

LSU Vet Med is a biomedical research institution as well as a veterinary school. Our researchers' investigations cover a wide range of disciplines, including cancer biology, disease processes, cardiovascular disease, infectious and parasitic diseases, neurosciences, toxicology, bacteriology, and more.
