Advice I don't leave home without

During my time working for Kappa Alpha Order, I was tasked with restarting the Zeta Alpha chapter at the University of Colorado Boulder. Their advisor, Mark Stine, opened the new semester with a statement that stuck with me: “A reminder, we built this empire off brothers and cousins. Because while we are not all fraternal brothers, we are all family through fraternity.” It changed the way I view the work we do and is a mindset I try to instill in every community I work with.
